Ojibwe Language CertificateThis program is designed to build proficiency and fluency in students interested in learning the Ojibwe language (anishinaabemowin/ojibwemowin). The student will learn how to use Ojibwemowin in an intuitive and natural way, beyond just Ojibwe words and grammar lists. It will bring Ojibwe back into the home and community, teach immersion pedagogy, provide structured learning and preparation to sit for Eminence testing, fill needed jobs in the area, prepare the students to be able to use Ojibwe as a language of instruction in a classroom setting, and hellp revitalize the language and culture.
