I am Anishinaabe from north of the 49th parallel. I have lived in this community for 40 years. I teach individuals to sew the items they need to participate in ceremony and pow wow that you cannot buy at the store. I have been sewing for 62 years. I have been sewing Regalia for the last 25 years. I teach a combination of basic seamstress skills and finished creative additions. I have been teaching here for 5 years. My hope is to teach as long as the college will let me.
