Topics include data summary and descriptive statistics, frequency distributions, plots, graphs, measures of central tendency, variation, probabilities, probability distributions, hypothesis testing and confidence intervals, and linear correlation and regression. Additional topics may include nonparametric statistics, sampling and simulation. Emphasis will be on real-world
applications.
