Farm Business Start Up Course

This course will introduce you the basics of starting a farm or food business from thinking about your customers and how to market them to understanding business financial statements. The course includes a field trip to a local vegetable farm to see the tools of the trade in person. This course is practical and will give you the opportunity to think through your own business idea.

Business owners and people handling marketing will learn how to use social media platforms to market their business: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Tiktok, and Snapchat will be covered. This workshop will also cover account security and ethics.
